Community Days – Ellenbrook Central

Description

Join us at Ellenbrook Central for two special Community Days! Come along, connect with the local community and enjoy a range of fun activities for children and families.

​

Activities include a colouring-in competition, “Be Kind” bracelet making, face painting, helium balloons, and arts and crafts.

​

There will also be a community raffle, with a chance to win a gift basket filled with goodies, including a $50 Coles food voucher. Come and say hello, learn more about HFL, and discover how you can get involved in supporting the community.

Bunnings Sausage Sizzle – Bayswater

Description

Come down, grab a sausage and support your local community charity at our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle! Enjoy a delicious sausage while helping us raise funds for HFL’s community programs and initiatives. 100% of the funds raised through our sausage sizzles will go directly towards supporting our work and making a positive difference in the local community.

Community Bingo Night – Osborne Park

Get ready for a fun night of bingo, prizes and community connection while supporting a great local cause. Join us for multiple rounds of bingo, plenty of prizes and raffle prizes, with hot food and canteen facilities available on the night.

Bring your friends and family, enjoy a few laughs, meet new people and help give back to the community. All proceeds raised from the evening will go towards HFL’s community programs and initiatives, supporting people and families experiencing hardship.

Hot Meals & Essential Clothing – Community Support

Description

Food & Bill Relief
 
We provide practical support to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship through our Food & Bill Relief program.

Each week, we prepare and deliver over 80 hot meals to people in need.
We also provide $50 Woolworths vouchers or $50 off a household bill per application.
 
To apply, please message 0433 408 840 first to arrange an appointment. Applications require you to attend our address in person:

Free Clothing Bundles

Alongside our food and bill relief support, we provide free clothing bundles to children and adults experiencing hardship. These essential items help provide comfort, dignity and practical support when families are doing it tough.

Through this ongoing project, we aim to make a meaningful difference in our local community by providing practical assistance, compassion and support to those who need it most.

Simple, direct ways to wrap our local community in warmth, care, and dignity.

Food Hamper Appeal

Help us fill our pantry with canned goods and dry essentials. Every donation goes straight into hampers supporting local families facing crisis.

  • Canned Goods:Soups, vegetables, beans, tuna, and fruit.

  • Pantry Staples:Pasta, rice, noodles, cereal, and muesli bars.

  • Everyday Essentials:Long-life milk, baby food, tea, coffee, toiletries, and sanitary items.

A warm jacket or blanket brings warmth, comfort, and hope to local neighbors facing hardship.

  • Warm Tops:Jackets, hoodies, jumpers, and long-sleeve tops.

  • Pants & Bottoms:Clean jeans, pants, and comfortable bottoms.

  • Winter Accessories & Essentials:Socks, new underwear, beanies, scarves, and gloves.

  • Bedding & Warmth:Blankets, sleeping bags, and warm bedding.

  • Kids & Baby:Children's and baby clothing are also welcome.
